Founded in 1985 by the brothers Carlos and Márcio Nogueira Rivelli, the company first started as a home business at the Rivellis’ house. There they used to raise chickens to sell at street markets in town.

As sales increased, the brothers decided to open their first store with financed equipment. Soon, other two stores were open in Barbacena. That was the beginning of Frangobom. In 1986 more buildings were made in João Rivelli’s Farm, in Ressaquinha-MG, to supply the high demand for their products...
